Our kitchen at Casa de la Vanderdogan is small: 17 feet long, and 10 feet wide. It is the very definition of a Galley Style kitchen. It's also one of only 2 spaces in the house where the natural woodwork was painted. (By the prior owner, of course - as Scott would have a coronary if I picked up a paint brush!) Space is limited, especially with so many beautiful pieces of ironstone to display, but we've made it work. This is the kitchen debut on the blog, so let me know what you think!
This picture probably would have turned out better in the daylight, but with winter quickly approaching in Western New York, those hours of sweet sunshine are fewer everyday. I'll see if I can't take a few tomorrow morning. Hope you enjoyed! Stay tuned, tomorrow, the guest room bookshelves. Remember, I made them!
