TUESDAY: Inspiring Spaces by Ralph Lauren Home PLUS some news...

I was asked to be a part of the 2010 Lewiston Tour of Homes a few weeks ago, before the Nate Berkus madness, and I've had my head wrapped around hundreds of ideas - trying to narrow it down to one great one for each of the two houses I'll be decorating. It's a Christmas themed tour - so instead of making huge design and decor decisions - it's usally all about taking what's there and accenting it with beautifully decorated trees, mantels, and tabletops. USUALLY! hmmhmm, not my case.

So, while I am so excited and extremely honored to be asked to help, I've got a lot to think about - and I've been highly inspired by the luxury of Ralph Lauren and Tartan. So inspired, in fact, that I purchased 20 yards of a gorgeous tartan for one of the houses today - curious?

You ever get that feeling? Like you were ready to get it done but everything else was in the way? I've been a wreck the last few days with unexpected work and tasks that have kept me from most everything - and I've still got a ton to do.
