FRIDAY: Vignette Friday

Wow! Week 5? I can't believe it, and we're picking up steam which is even more exciting! There were 1,761 link clicks on last weeks post - and over 4,000 views! That's fantastic! Vignette Fridays was created for inspiration in design, and all of you who have linked up have provided tons of inspiration! So let me thank each and everyone of you who is joining this week, and everyone who will make the rounds to get inspired by their creativity!

This week, I am sharing the vignette I put together just the other night in our living room. You might have seen this in the little video I put together, but here's a chance for you to see it without it moving on you in just 5 seconds or so. It's two old iron door weights, or "props" from probably about 1950-1955. Could be a bit earlier, but not much. They're a great styling item and I use them all over the place. Plus, they remind us of Wadju, Scott's Boston Terrier who unfortunately has passed, and our Boston Terrier who many of you have met on the blog, 'D' short for Diablo, as he is definitely a little devil!

Let me know what you think, then head over to visit everyone else! Happy Friday! Oh, and if this is your first time here, WELCOME! And please, consider becoming a follower on the right sidebar.

You're all the best! The button to post on your blog this week is here:

Please post it to let everyone know that you are participating, and direct them back to Color Outside the Lines to see all of the other vignettes! Just below, you'll find where you can add your link thanks to inlinkz!

  1. Love your movie and your vignette. It inspires me to work on vignettes more. I always consider them a byproduct of the creativity I have been exploring on this blog. I will see what I can do to kick them up a notch. Great work!

    Best wishes,

  8. Artie-LOVE the little vignette! I have about 100 dogs in a collection from my childhood. There is one of a Boston terrier with an ear "injury" that has been wrapped in a bandana. It was always my favorite one. I am passing them on to my grandson.

Thanks for all the little joy you bring to my day! Diana
