FRIDAY: Vignette Fridays

Wow, it's Friday already? That week flew by - gotta love those extended weekends. I've been working like crazy and trust me, I'm not complaining. I've spent many a nights hoping for this sort of work load, and now I finally have it so I'm thankful more than weary.

As you all know, I started Vignette Fridays as an opportunity for everyone to share inspiring tabletop vignettes, and in the process I've been inspired by each and every link-up that you've shared. Please, keep them coming!

This week is sort of a thank you, and a feature of a great blog that I'm not exactly new to, but haven't spent as much time reading as I should. Lynda at NYCLQ:Focal Point and I first met when I admired her bedroom on Rate-My-Space what seems like eons ago. In fact, I even included her bedroom in a post I did on Small Room Design here. Lynda has tons of styling experience working in retail environments, and her beautiful vignettes all around her house have been noticed by the likes of Colin Cowie, Vincent Wolff, Eddie Ross, HGTV, and Houzz to name a few.

Recently I entered a contest on olioboards.com (shameless plug) that I hope you'll all log into vote on. Sweet Lynda posted my olioboard on her blog encouraging all of her readers to log in and vote. It was supposed to be on the "down low" but what a wonderful way to be outted. If you would like to vote for me in the olioboard contest, please set up an account (it's FREE!) and vote for me by clicking here: http://olioboard.com/boards/10394

So as a thank you to Lynda, I wanted to share with all of my readers some of her beautiful work. Make sure you run right over and sign up to follow my new friend Lynda and tell her hello! She'll be happy to have you! Without further ado - some of my favorite vignettes from Lynda and Focal Point.

Happy Friday! Oh, and if this is your first time here, WELCOME! And please, consider becoming a follower on the right sidebar.

You're all the best! The button to post on your blog this week is here:

Please post it to let everyone know that you are participating, and direct them back to Color Outside the Lines to see all of the other vignettes! Just below, you'll find where you can add your link thanks to inlinkz!

  7. Hey! I think this is a great idea- vignettes! One of those things that I think we all kind of get stumped on sometimes, and other times have brilliant moments. I'm totally looking forward to the inspiration here!
That lamp in the third photograph of Lynda's is fantastic!
    Thanks for hosting!

  9. Artie,

I can't THANK YOU enough! What a delightful surprise I just read. Thank you for inviting me to your Vignette Friday parties. Thank you for featuring me, my blog, and photos. And thank you ever so much from WAY back in the good ole days
of RMS and capturing the bedroom post to include in a part of your feature for small room design. Special thanks also to your followers stopping by to visit - Welcome.

This Friday's (and Saturday's) post at FP will be a little different than the usual decor posts (to honor 911) - but I will join the party with a fall inspirational post...

Blessings to you Artie - you're the best! :D Lynda
