You Can't Out Fly the Flu!

No, it's true. Wash your hands a hundred times, own stock in Purell, nothing will help if you're destined to get it ... and apparently, I was. Soon after the computer came back from vacation, the virus it picked up while "down" was swiftly shared, and I was down for the count.

I've spent the last three days in bed ... doing very little, oh so very little - including taking the pictures I wanted to share with you all in the 33 Days of Casa de la Vanderdogan.

Thankfully, after a dreadful morning, I'm feeling a bit better tonight, and I'll make an effort to catch you all up on what's going on over my way. The house is a mess with Christmas Ornament totes in every room - and drawings and plans strewn from place to place. That's right, I'm decorating for Christmas ... or I was. I'll pick that back up within the next couple of days, and then when December rolls around we'll have a whole month of that!

Thank you all so much for coming back and checking in daily - I will get back in the groove very soon!

  15. Oh Artie, my new dear friend. I have missed you and your wonderful posts! I am happy to hear the worst is over and you and your computer are recovering. As far as your home, I always say about decorating messes, "On the way to pretty, things get pretty ugly"!

  16. Quoting Chaka Khan, "I feel for you!" My daughter has had it since last Thursday & still has a terrible cough. It stinks. Hope you're up and at it again soon. I'm glad I'm not the only one skipping the Thanksgiving decor. I'm afraid if I don't start with the Christmas decor soon, I'll never finish.
