My Aching Back!

I'm not sure if it was from tearing apart the atrocious vanity/sink combo in the bathroom to make way for the new sink, or it was from unloading boxes in my new office today (there is demo going on all around me!); but my back is in severe need of rest! That means I'm off to bed somewhat early tonight and hopefully will be back in shape come morning to tackle sanding the rest of the floors to make way for tile!

Oh there is so much left to do, and I'm going to keep part of this a huge surprise for you all so one last update post next week, and then I'll share the final with you very shortly! So, off to bed I go - leaving you with this picture of the tulips Scott bought me for Valentines in our living room. Simply beautiful, don't you agree? It's so nice to come downstairs from the demolition zone to see something so peaceful! Take care everyone, I'll catch back up with you on Monday!

Hope your back feels better in the morning.

  2. Artie, I LOVE tulips and those look perfect there. Hope you feel better. I posted this morning on reality in decor and blogland and got a tremendous email response. Your reality is a sore back now, but a GORGEOUS bathroom in your future. Do we get to see the new office??

  3. Hi Artie!
I'm waiting with bated breath for "THE REVEAL". Your tulips are lovely...I just finished a painting with this variety of tulips. It's pretty, if I do say so myself...every different from my usual work. I'm preparing for a show...eek!

  11. Kiddo, take a rest. There is nothing worse than a back ache. Use a heating pad and take some pain pills.
    I love that square sink.

  13. Artie,

I honestly feel your pain (only it's mine I feel) :(

We were only suppose to lay down hardwood floors in the LR after the holidays, but that project led to one thing after the other and I'm not sure our house will ever get back in order. Plus we did the downstairs powder room over, better known as 'biting off more than we can chew'. :(

At least the pain lets me know I'm still alive, because there were times I thought I was going to die. :(

Your project is looking good; hope your back holds out.

    Healing Hugs
