Loving Blue

For a while now I've been trying to convince Scott to change the greens in our house to soft creams and blues. I'm not sure why I'm finding affinity for the palate, but I am - and in a big, big way! Just take the photo above for example; the minute I saw this I knew I had to clip it for my blue file. Not much time for posting today - but take some time to enjoy these rooms. Who knew being blue could be so beautiful?

  1. Blues and browns, with some orange tone accents are very calming and yet have a certain energy depending on the room. Love your images!

  2. I love your blog! Every room in my house has some blue in it, so obviously I'm a fan. Soon I'll try to post some pics of my blue bedroom on my blog http://mermaidden.blogspot.com!

  3. Blue is my favorite color but there is little blue at Linderhof (except in the dining room now) -- but blue and white oriental porcelain is in all rooms! I think of it as a good "neutral" (every color seems to go with blue and white!)

  4. I completely agree Artie. I've been craving lots of whites lately, but always with some calming blue. Great pics- I keep going back to that dining room...

  5. Very nice post. I am not a blue lover although you used some wonderful shades.

  10. I love the soft blues you chose here.
I'm definitely leaning more toward blue than green right now!
