Overwhelming Gratitude

My heart swelled with gratitude when I read each of your comments on the post that I have now deleted. I didn't delete the blog because I don't feel exactly the same way as I did when I wrote it ... but it's not what this blog is about. We're about the beautiful, the inspiring, and the good. So, in an effort to start fresh, and move forward to that effect ... I've let your good thoughts and sound advice inspire me to start new projects!

Check back in with me on Friday - when I can share them with you, and how the dining room is taking shape!

And thank you all again! You're truly, the best.

  2. I'm glad you are putting your energy elsewhere. I also think that deleting is a good idea. I think you needed to write it and I'm really glad the support helped...but, sometimes the bullies like attention and it is better not to give it to them.

  3. A belated happy birthday, Artie. I'll be 67 in July, :-). I truly believe my 60's have been better than my 30's. So you have much to look forward to.

I missed the posts about the troubles. It sounds like writing about it has helped. I hope so. Writing is a great catharsis, in many instances. I'm also glad you decided to delete. As Sue said, it's not good to let the bullies get attention.
    All the best!

  5. HI Artie! It's good for the soul to write out what we're feeling sometimes and then wad it up and throw it away! Glad you did this. You're so talented and I'm glad you're aiming at your goals! Then you can show them to us.
    Be a sweetie,

  6. It is sometimes good to share one's feelings and once "said" (out loud or on paper), we can often move on. Especially when dear friends gather around us -- Can't wait to see your dining room!

  7. WooHoo!!!

Someone reminded me of this quote today. I thought I'd pass it on to you, as it seems to fit perfectly...

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from those of mediocre minds. Albert Einstein

  8. Hi Artie. I'm Bonnie. I've read your blog for sometime now, just lurking and not posting. But, here I am saying that I was distressed with your nasty "visitors" and happy that you are able to move forward. I enjoy your style, your photography, you. Happy, happy birthday! Carpe cakum!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  9. I didn't read the post you deleted but from the comments I can see that something stressful to you was said or done and I am so sorry. But I am glad that you wrote about it and were able to move on. I would hate to not be able to visit you!

    xoxo

  10. Artie, I've been thinking about you guys. I'm so glad you felt the support that was wholeheartedly offered. I do agree that sometimes giving those types the attention they crave is not the best thing, but venting and sharing your honest feelings is good for the soul. Can't wait to see the dining room

  11. I think this is a good decision, it isn't good to dwell on negative things....I have a problem with that so I know:):) YOu are too talented to NOT get back to work on the good things! Looking forward to your new posts! Have a great week!!!! XO, Pinky
