Home Tour Update

Remember when I told you about the Christmas Tour of Homes I was asked to participate in? Well, the tartan plaid I ordered for one of the houses arrived yesterday afternoon, and it's beautiful - but not what I had in mind (ideally). I will make it work though, and I'm confident that its significant presence throughout the space will make the room look perfectly luxurious!

The theme: Adirondack Lux
The inspiration:

The concept rendering:
The good stuff:

So give me your thoughts! Does it look like a cozy cabin Christmas in the foothills of the Adirondacks?

  3. I think it looks really great! Are you using the tartan fabric for a screen? If so, you might consider putting the matching throw pillow on one of the chairs instead of on the sofa in front of the screen... I really like the symmetry of the trees on either side of the sofa!

  4. I'm grabbing a blanket and a cup of coco for the results! I love the thought of feathers and of course the plaid. Lots of rough texture, too, which you have -- YUM!

  21. All this makes me want to spend the holidays at a place featuring all the elements you've included. There is a really cute electric fireplace at plow and hearth that I would add to my own little cabin in the woods!
