Vignette Fridays: Terrain at Styer's

I love to get away, but it always seems that it takes me a week to catch up for every day that I'm gone. With the Lewiston Home Tour coming up very shortly, my house has been turned into a storage locker of Christmas decor for two very different houses with two very different themes, making my 16x16 living room look a whole lot like an episode of hoarders!

With that said, I am trying feverishly to clean it up for a bit tonight before heading to bed so that I can get up early and finish styling the porch for a photo shoot that is being taken tomorrow afternoon. It's to kick off the Niagara Falls Outdoor Decorating Contest, and the judges will be posing on my porch, calling it "An Elegant Entryway". As you can imagine, I'm excited to have been asked to participate in the inaugural publicity of the event, and can't wait to see how the photo turns out.

This week I'm sharing some vignettes of the outdoors, and indoors. Shots from another one of my favorite stores in Glen Mills, PA., Terrain at Styer's. With parent store Anthropologie, Terrain is a huge success for the brand with their one and only flagship store in Glen Mills. Filled with treasure at every turn, I hope you make this one of your stops when you visit the Brandywine, along with my absolute favorite Design Shop: La Maison Home.

Entering Terrain is like Entering any other high end home/garden/nursery ... ha, like those exist! Take a tour, won't you?

Pssst. This sofa is purple, slip covered in simple canvas drop cloths that you can buy off the shelf at Home Depot or Lowes for $12.00! Remember that I borrowed this idea when you see this on the CDLV sofa come summer!

Gorgeous right? And my photos are only of part of this truly inspiring store. Be prepared to bring your card with the highest limit though, it's not cheap! But, it's a great place to visit for inspiration, and a sense of calm.

Stay tuned to the blog on Monday and Tuesday of next week. I've finally put together my post on the amazing time I had at the Chic it Up conference held at Winterthur last week. You don't wanna miss it - serious eye candy!

The button to post on your blog this week is here:

Please post it to let everyone know that you are participating, and direct them back to Color Outside the Lines to see all of the other vignettes! Just below, you'll find where you can add your link thanks to inlinkz!

  11. Wow, that shop reminds me of one of my favorite gardening blogs http://blomsterverkstad.blogspot.com/.It has that Swedish garden style going on. That is fabulous. Haven't seen that anywhere in my area. Very nice! Thanks for showing us.
