Over the past year I've given you these Tuesday posts, highlighting all sorts of designers, most of who are insanely famous, and have scores of blog posts all about their portfolios. Today's post is a little different. I happened upon the work of Stephanie Wohlner in a Late Summer 2009 magazine Meredith Publications produced simply called, "Decor". The spread of her work in the magazine was 8-pages of sheer genius, in combining a pretty eclectic high rise in Chicago.
An allied member ASID, and graduate of Harrington School of Design in Chicago, Stephanie has been designing residential interiors for over 15 years. And while her work has been published in House Beautiful and Traditional Home, there aren't a lot of photos of her magnificent portfolio on the Internet to inspire us.
Definitely one to watch, Stephanie's style is a mix of traditional and contemporary, mixing textures and periods; bringing them together with her unique taste, ultimately creating timeless rooms with an effortless look. Enjoy:
I just had to show this picture of Stephanie from her website: http://swohlnerdesign.com/, I think she looks just like Sonja Morgan of the Real Housewives of NYC, don't you? Beautiful - and great shoes! Check out more of Stephanie's portfolio here!
