Absolutely Beautiful Things: A Bright and Colourful Live by Anna Spiro
Published By Conran / Octopus Publishing

Many of you are familiar with the beautiful Australian blog, Absolutely Beautiful Things, written by Brisbane interior designer Anna Spiro. You are then likely also familiar with her book Absolutely Beautiful Things: A Bright and Colourful Live. However, if you are not, or if you have not had a chance to add this book to your collection of inspiring interior design publications, you're truly missing out!

The book, with its bold and colorful cover, painted by Pip Boydell, is inspiring from the moment you pick it up! Filled with beautiful homes, chock full of the "more is more" aesthetic that Spiro pulls off effortlessly, Absolutely Beautiful Things is a beautiful collection of inspiring images and worthwhile advice that you can use to create a new look in any room of your home, likely with objects you already have! Who doesn't like that!?

Yes, Anna has a very beautiful, very deliberate look that is mixed and layered with beautiful things that are unique and special. Pattern upon pattern, color galore, old mixed with new, quirky with conservative. Her spaces are perfectly imperfect, and the book is a special mix of lavish photos that detail how with the right touch, you can make your house a home.

Along with dazzling photographs of rooms Anna has created, she shares many of her secrets from a life in decorating, gives practical details on how to work with pattern and color, and provides a room-by-room guide to furniture choices. Without further ado, let's get to some of the photos from the book, shall we?

Gorgeous, right? It's very definitely one of the BEST books I have in my library when it comes to inspiration for staging and vignettes, and the pattern pairing and art display are beyond compare. With 224 pages of inspiration at your finger tips, I urge you to grab this one for yourself and a friend! You won't regret it! The book can be purchased on Amazon via the link below.
