Who doesn't love a good sale, right?
Over the last few months, I've been working really hard to create some lovely pieces of handmade work for the Cross Bottle Guy site. More than 100 bottles have already been packed up and shipped out to homes all over the country, (maybe some of yours!) and the creating continues.
However, there are a few bottles that have been taking up precious studio space for far too long, and those select pieces have been priced for quick inventory reduction. If you've been looking at purchasing more for your collection, or starting a collection of your own - now may be the time!
But hurry! Deals like this don't come around too often, and these beauties may not last too long! Of course, you can visit the full site by going to Cross Bottle Guy. New stuff is being added almost daily, and there are some really lovely pieces from the latest studio excursion.
These cat eye crystals have really been a favorite among collectors of my handmade art. They're incredibly refractive, and really dazzle in any space. This one tops an antique embossed seltzer bottle, embellished with a rosary.
This one might be my favorite for right now. The shape of the antique French crystals remind me of little angels and I can't get enough of those rosettes! This bottle is a century old, from botanic chemists in Boston!
I'm also working on some beautiful pieces for the summer beach collection, which includes these Irish flat scallop shells with what we are calling "sunrise solder". Following the graceful indentations of the shell, are heavy solder columns finished in our signature mercerized rust patina. We think they're lovely - and hope you will too!
So, whether you're looking for a great deal on beautiful handmade art and our limited sale bottles are for you; or you want to take a look at the newest stuff coming out of the studio - take a peek at the site! There's something there for just about everyone.
And in other news, I'll be back next week with 7 book reviews! Yes, SEVEN! I've been doing quite a bit of reading this week!
