Testing : LOCKED

Now blogger is giving me this notice, and asking me for Word Verification in order to post - which it (in RED print) warns that I will not be able to do. So, I'm testing the system. I put in my request to have my blog viewed by a human, 48 hours ago. I'm still getting this message. I realize that things happen, in a world where we depend so heavily on the kindness of machines, safeguards like spam filters are going to malfunction. But 48 hours for a human to see that I've had a well travelled and highly commented blog for more than a year!?

I'd appreciate any ones comment on this post to let me know that I indeed have posting capability, that is, until they possibly delete the blog all together in 18 days ... and counting. If you think this is as ridiculous as I do ... please, feel free to email google humans at: help@google.com.

Let them know that I don't talk about nor deliver spam to any of your mailboxes or desktops, laptops, too! :) Thanks a million!

  8. Blogger's been giving me a strange message at work...something about my network sending automated messages to Google. The problem is that my network is a major, research University. Why I got denied access to ANY blogger blog at work is beyond me.

  10. Artie,
Two days ago twitter and blogger and a few other sites were knocked out for hours. Something to do with spam. Maybe this is in relation to all that? I bet blogger is going as fast as it can to clean up the mess. I'll put in a good word for you. Not that I am anybody. But in the mean time.... print out your blog!I do this every month and my blog is nothing to look at. Yours needs preserving! Good Luck, my fingers are crossed.

  11. I'm with Lynn... the twitter/Facebook mess was caused by spammers who took control of a TON of computers. Make SURE you haven't been "botted" and don't have a nasty virus in your machine. The whole social network thing is all messed up. :<( I'm sorry it's affecting your wonderful blog...

  13. Hello Artie - Um, your blog is far from soliciting spam. I love your blog because you taught me how to take an ordinary screen door and turn it into something fabulous.

So sorry you're having to put your blogging on hold for this reason. I hope they fix the error soon because I'm dying to know what you've done with that fabulous chair!

    Blessings,
    Marie

  16. Just read this on the mclinky blog:
I guess I lost touch with reality during the time the largest Internet business in the world was shutting down 1500 blogs that used MckLinky and it looked like it was because MckLinky had been banned... I should learn to be more reserved and patient when those types of casual, common stresses occur. :)

SO, it sounds like they froze you because you use McLinky, and it should be resolved soon, if it isn't already. Yay!
