LOVE ... Crowns

Shades of Light has this beautiful flush mount crown ceiling fixture that I also love! It's really the perfect fixture for hallways where doors open out and a hanging fixture isn't an option. It gives you just enough glam and interest, don't you think? And what a deal at $99!?

So what about you? Do you have any crowns laying around ... or am I the only one with a royalty complex? Ha-ha! Enjoy your day!

  1. That was like a "where's Waldo" search for the crown in every shot! I don't know that I would have ever noticed them. Fun post, Artie. I'll admit I'm a bit of a royals follower :) Have a great weekend!

  2. I've always been attracted to crowns, not because I'm a prince (or princess), but because my first name means "crown." They're usually a little over the top for me to have sitting around, or to wear around town, but I love them as an icon.

  5. Love all your crowns! And since I am such a princess I love it when I come upon a new crown! Love what you did for your outdoor deck, thanks for giving me some inspiration to get going on my new abode!

  6. Crowns are visually very appealing. They have been featured in all the shelter magazines for some time, although interest in them seemed to come out of nowhere. The first time I remember noticing them was some years ago in an article in Veranda about Houston antiques dealer extraordinaire, Kay O'Toole who has a collection of them throughout her home.
