Book Review: Signature Spaces: The Well-Traveled Interiors of Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen

There were so many fantastic interior design books that hit the shelves this autumn, and Signature Spaces: The Well-Traveled Interiors of Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, published by Vendome Press, was definitely one of the most awaited.

Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino are the talented masterminds behind the award-winning design studio Paolo Moschino for Nicholas Haslam Limited. Noted in the AD100 as being among the top 100 designers in the world, Philip and Paolo not only create amazing interiors, but also design furniture, lighting, fabrics, and a line of home decor accessories.

Born in Italy, Paolo moved to London after college and purchased Nicholas Haslam Ltd., in 1995. He began working hard to grow the company into one of the most prominent names in the design world. Six years ago, Philip, born and raised in Belgium, joined Nicholas Haslam Ltd., where he now heads up the Interior Design Studio.

Together, they take you on a visual journey through their world, their intimate inspiration, in the pages of Signature Spaces. There are stunning photos of amazing rooms, captured by photographer Simon Upton, brilliant musings from notable artists and historians, quotes that inspire and embolden. Let's take a look:

Page after glamorous page, the inspiration pours in. I've hardly been able to put it down! Definitely a beautiful book to inspire. My favorite quote from the book, which I captured for my own instagram page, is: "People who college out of love are exempt from the dictates that govern traditional design, for there are no rules for true lovers. - Rose Tarlow"

I highly recommend that you look at it more, and purchase your own copy via the Amazon link below:
