La Maison Home Saying Goodbye

I've blogged about the jaw dropping design and interiors shop of my dear, dear friend Pat Celii a lot. In fact, you can read about it here, here, here, here and now here! I hinted in my last post about La Maison Home in Chadds Ford, PA, that Pat was going to have to close the doors on her current location, as the owners of the land have plans to develop the property and tear down the current home Pat has made so beautiful and inspiring with her amazing vignettes and choices in furniture and the perfect interior design accessories.

Pat and I have formed a very special bond in the few times that I've had the pleasure of visiting her shop, and I know that she will likely find another way to share that beauty and creativity with the world, perhaps even another space?

But what does this change mean for you? Well, my friends, it means deep discounts on everything from furniture to rugs, candles to mirrors, art to antique demi john jars, lamps to fabric, and everything in between!  Before they close the doors for good in a month or two, make sure you visit them and take advantage of the last days of this La Maison Home:

810 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania 19317
Thursday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 12noon - 5pm

And if you get the pleasure of meeting my friend and mentor Pat, make sure you give her a hug from me!

  1. I live just a few miles from her shop. I'm so sad that it is closing, as I love to visit. I will definitely stop in before it closes.

  2. Unfortunately, I don't live near her shop, but I admire her style and wish her good fortune in whatever she decides to do in the future.

  4. I wish her all the best in her new Location and I know she'll make the new space as Amazing as the previous one.

So Sad that yet another Beautiful Old Home shall be razed for 'development' though... that always grieves me when History is lost in the name of 'progress' or to make a buck. That Home is so Beautiful and well maintained that it was a National Treasure IMO.

  5. I think you just changed my life! That first Bunny Williams photo of the living room with large prints on the walls... I am in love! I am going to research more of her work! I just finished reading Sister Parish book, and know Bunny Williams worked for her.

I wanted folding screens, but now I see large canvas would give me that very tropical feeling in my living room!

Great post thread on your blog, I enjoy reading what you post.
